Accommodation
Keld is a bright and peaceful holiday home with plenty of space (1220sq ft) to relax. It has generously proportioned rooms with high ceilings.
Keld was restyled and improved in 2023. Several rooms have new carpets (March 2025). Photographs on canvas of Exmoor scenes adorn the walls to inspire your exploration of Porlock and Exmoor.
Free Wifi
One free parking space is available, a two minute walk away, in a private car park. For additional cars, there is a long-stay pay and display car park in the village and some street parking.
Pets are not permitted at Keld. This must be respected for our guests who have allergies.
Bedding, 7 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 2 tea towels are provided.
Please bring your own towels to take to the beach.
We respectfully asked guests not to smoke.

Master Bedroom
The large master bedroom, with a ‘cathedral roof’ has an extremely comfortable king size bed.

The triple bedroom at the front of the property has a period fireplace. There is a double bed and a single bed.
Triple Bedroom
The twin bedroom has two single beds.
Bathroom
There is one large bathroom with a toilet, sink, bath and a new shower cubicle.
This is the only toilet in the apartment.
Entrance
The apartment is accessed via five stone steps (with a hand rail) up to the newly fitted front door.
Eight stairs lead from the front door up to a small landing. From this landing there are a further three stairs up to the master bedroom to the left.
To the right of the landing, five stairs lead to the kitchen and the rest of the apartment. Each set of stairs has a hand rail on one side.
An internal hallway leads away from the kitchen to the rest of the apartment. From this hallway there are doors to the living/dining room, the twin and triple bedrooms and the bathroom.

Children are welcome.
Keld may not be suitable for babies who are walking, and toddlers, due to the configuration of the stairs between the master bedroom, the landing and kitchen (please see photos).
It is our opinion that most children aged four upwards would be able to manage the stairs.

A travel cot and a high chair are provided for very young infants who are not yet mobile.
